In my profession it is very important to build a proper therapeutic relationship with the patient and to understand that each person is unique. That is why the formulation of the dietary plans is individualized to the needs and lifestyle of each client.

In my office I offer nutritional services such as nutritional counseling, personalized nutrition and fat measurement. My interest and knowledge of sports and nutrition will help you achieve athletic and aesthetic goals. However, client health remains my primary concern and I am here to support you every step of the way.

Since 2016 I have been doing internships in hospitals such as the Elena Venizelos Hospital - Maternity Hospital and the Attikon University General Hospital.

I also trained at Holmes Place in Maroussi and worked in centers where I provided dietary services such as the Medical Anti-Aging Center.

At the end of 2020 I started my postgraduate internship in the US Army in the SPARTA program but unfortunately it was not completed due to Covid.

Body composition analysis

I conduct lipid measurements using the Harpeden dermatometer and various equations depending on the population. In a sporting or athletic population I always use the dermatoptometer as it offers better accuracy, validity and repeatability in measurements. In addition, I use equations derived from measurements of circumferential measurements with tape measure and also bioelectric impedance (BIA).

Nutritional Counselling / Education

I offer personalized nutritional counseling that fits your needs and purpose so that you can make the right nutritional choices. Nutritional education will help you understand more about micronutrients as well as macronutrients in food and how to manage them through food. Nutritional counseling is offered to all ages including children and their parents.

I create personalized nutritional programs for weight management (gain/maintain/loss) taking into account your metabolism, lifestyle and your goal. My approach always focuses on health and the sustainability of these goals.

I conduct online sessions for clients who cannot visit me in person or for clients who live abroad. The quality of the session does not decrease but only the anthropometric part changes.

Anorexia nervosa

The client avoided various foods as they were "demonized", had low body weight, was obsessively exercising, consumed few calories, had a hormonal imbalance and had a false body image.
Goal
Always the first goal in such cases is to achieve a healthy body weight. Then with additional support from a psychologist to overcome the psychological barriers related to food, body image and physical activity.
Result
After joint efforts with the psychologist and frequent sessions, the client was able to increase his body weight and achieve his sports goals. The main thing he achieved, however, was to improve his relationship with food and his physical health.

The client weighed 130 kilos. She had tried exhaustive diets and exercise programs in the past, where she was able to see results in the short term but ultimately was unable to maintain this lifestyle as well as her body weight at a healthy level. The main problem was her approach to diet and exercise which was mainly a self-punishment approach rather than an attempt at self-improvement.
Goal
Reduce body weight and fat to healthy levels, while developing sustainable healthy habits that will help her maintain body weight after loss. In addition, a very important goal that takes time was to change her self-punishing mindset towards food and exercise.
Result
Through weekly sessions, she managed to reduce her body weight from 130 kg to 80 kg in 9 months. She also managed to change her lifestyle and her perspective on food and fitness. Finally, she still manages to maintain this body weight and this lifestyle

Sixteen-year-old world-class athlete who wanted to lose 1 kg of body weight (mostly fat), as she and her coach noticed that her athletic performance was at optimal levels in this narrow weight range.
Goal
Very specifically, reduce body weight by 1 kg (not more) to achieve optimal athletic performance. Secondary objective is to inform the athlete and her coach about ergogenic and non-ergogenic supplements.
Result

With a single session and a follow-up two weeks later, the teenage champion’s weight was reduced by 800 grams and her fat percentage was reduced by 0.9%. Vitamin counselling helped her to avoid the unnecessary formulations available on the market as well as some vitamins which worked counterproductively in terms of muscle hypertrophy. She managed to win 2nd place in a world tournament and continues to maintain her high level of performance.
